Port Dundas, Glasgow

Leading on from our studies for the Pinkston Basin development, we undertook a masterplan study for a vast development on the adjacent former Diageo lands, extending to 10.8 ha.

Over 1.1m sq.ft of development was envisaged: this was to be a significant new urban quarter for Glasgow, a catalyst for the regeneration of derelict former industrial lands. Housing, offices, two hotels, retail spaces, cultural and community facilities, health centre etc., would form the back-drop for pedestrian-dominated streets and small squares, opening up glimpses down over Glasgow city centre.
