Grand Canal Student Housing

This scheme for a large student village along the Grand Canal contained 400 bedrooms in ‘pods’ of between 4 and 6 rooms, each with a shared living/kitchen. A central “village” envisaged various student facilities – shop, laundry, gym and various social spaces, opening out onto multi-level outdoor spaces.

The blocks were arranged to minimise any impact on residential neighbours, whilst ensuring a high quality environment for its occupants.
