45 Pearse Street

A protected structure, this building dating from c.1845 was in very poor condition: structural strengthening was required throughout – needling, stitching, helix-pinning, underpinning. The brick facade was the subject of significant repairs with ‘wiggan’ pointing applied, new Wicklow granite capping and cill repairs, and lime render at ground level.

Two apartments on the upper floors are completely re-planned, re-instating the original plan form.
