Richmond Hill

This development was awarded the RIAI Triennial Silver Medal for Housing 1974-1976. The assessors’ citation read:

“The scheme, carefully massed on a steeply sloping, narrow-frontage site, is restrained, simple and functional and is a sensitive contribution to the field of speculative private sector development”; and

“The choice of materials and the details of their assembly are exemplary throughout and assist greatly in providing that overall unity and harmony characteristic of good architecture”.
